We can arrange berthage, ongoing inspections and maintenance as required, sea trials and pre purchase inspections on your behalf (only done after we have a signed sale & purchase agreement and deposit), and formal customs clearance once the vessel is sold.
Dealing with NZ Customs is a simple process as we have a very good relationship with the team both in Auckland and Opua. All we need from you is the original proof of purchase (your sale & purchase contract will do), your NZ Customs Temporary Import Exemption (TIE) certificate, and a letter instructing us to act on your behalf and the processis very simple. We do 4 - 8 such imports every season and can usually surprise owners with the amount of duty and GST charged.
